The Climate Change Regional Activity Centre (CC/RAC) supports the implementation of climate adaptation and mitigation strategies in the Mediterranean region. As part of the UNEP/MAP system, it works with all Contracting Parties to the Barcelona Convention—including Mediterranean coastal states and the European Union—to develop joint projects, share knowledge, and promote sustainable development through regional cooperation.
CC/RAC plays a pivotal role in coordinating regional efforts, providing technical assistance, and fostering cooperation among member states to address climate challenges effectively.
